About Gena
The heart of Gena Maselli’s writing is to encourage others in the plans that God has for their lives. She has written several books, including Truth Unplugged for Girls, Truth Unplugged for Guys and Daily Wisdom for Working Women—a 365-day devotional co-authored with Michelle Medlock Adams. Gena also writes magazine articles, curriculum and marketing materials, and she writes for some of the most effective ministers of our time.
Gena grew up in the heart of Florida in the city of Ocala, which explains her love for lush landscapes and fresh seafood. After graduating college from Oral Roberts University with a business degree, Gena worked in print advertising and media planning for a worldwide ministry. Today, she lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with her husband, children’s author Christopher P.N. Maselli, and her beautiful baby girl.
In her free time—something she has very little of since her daughter was born in 2004—Gena enjoys trying out new recipes in her kitchen, taking long walks with her family and laughing with her close friends.
