About Michelle
After graduating with a journalism degree from Indiana University, Michelle Medlock Adams landed her first job as a city government reporter at The Bedford Times-Mail in Southern Indiana. During her time at the paper, Michelle earned many awards from the Associated Press, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Hoosier State Press Association, the American Association of Sunday and Feature Editors, and more.
Today, Michelle enjoys a full-time writing career from her home office, crafting articles for magazines and newspapers across the country. She is also the author of more than 25 books, including her award-winning picture book, Conversations On the Ark and most recent children’s title, What Is Easter? In addition to writing, Michelle speaks at women’s retreats, churches and many top writers’ conferences across the United States.
When she isn’t working, Michelle enjoys shopping, listening to Frank Sinatra CDs, coaching her daughters in cheerleading and watching Doris Day movies. Michelle is married to her high school sweetheart, Jeff, and they have two “tween-age” daughters Abby Leigh and Allyson Michelle, and three miniature long-haired dachshunds named Maddie, Miller and Freckles.
